Clinical Supervisor-West Lebanon
Our Habit OPCO Treatment Center is currently seeking a full time Clinical Supervisor to join our team. We are a fast-paced outpatient medication assisted treatment facility.
The successful candidate must possess strong therapeutic and supervisory skills. In this leadership role, the Clinical Supervisor will report to the Clinic Director. This position requires a thorough understanding of outpatient Treatment, the clinic's philosophy of treatment, the admission process, and admission criteria. The individual is responsible for insuring clinical and administrative services are provided for patients and their families. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. This is a working supervisor's position requiring the individual to serve as a working role model for other counselors.
Tasks and Responsibility:
1) Supervise a team of Counselors to assure timely completion of work and adherence to program policies and procedures;
2) Provide weekly clinical supervision through documentation of assessment of professional competencies, clinical skills, and recommendations through weekly meetings and direct and periodic observation;
3) Maintain a reduced caseload;
4) Provide new hire orientation for Counselors;
5) Prepare an annual training plan for Counselors;
6) Comply with State/Federal and/or Certification/Licensure training requirements
Job Requirements
Clinical Supervisor must have the following
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university with major emphasis in any of the following areas: social work, addiction studies, psychology, sociology, counseling, nursing or a related behavioral health field required. Master's degree preferred.
2) Minimum two years supervised clinical experience in a health or human service agency; one year of which must be directly related to substance abuse treatment.
3) ACCBO, CADC II or equivalent.
4) Experience in mental health or in an addiction treatment setting.
5) Strong verbal and written communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
