Homecare Service Manager

Foremost Builders Foremost Builders West Lebanon, NH West Lebanon, NH Full-time Full-time $22 - $28 an hour $22 - $28 an hour The Service Manager has primary responsibility for facilitating Homecare projects from sales to completion.
Your role is service oriented to our clients, trade contractors, suppliers and to all members of the Foremost Builders team.
Accountability, adaptability, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving skills are critical to the successful Service Manager.
Responsibilities Become familiar with Buildertrend, the cloud-based project management system used by Foremost Builders and utilize its capabilities through ongoing training.
Maintain job documentation system that is centralized, date sensitive and accurate and serves both internal employees and clients.
Maintain and continually develop Homecare estimating spreadsheet ensuring that all job cost codes and descriptions are accurate.
Modify estimating database (Cost book) for each Homecare project so that each project's unique scope of work is represented in the estimate.
Prepare estimate line by line by having a thorough understanding of the scope of work as represented in the Homecare Managers photos and notes.
Develop an accurate scope of work description and overview for each Homecare trade partner and send scope of work documents to desired trades for pricing.
Get input and feedback from Project Manager(s) on remodel projects relating to preferred trades and suppliers and confirm Foremost Builders labor, supervision and management expectations for each project prior to Production Managers Buyout.
Prepare written scope of work document for Homecare projects describing each section of the cost estimate with assumptions for presentation to client.
Review and check Homecare estimate in detail with Project Manager and Salesperson.
Establish relationships with current trade partners and create new trade partner and supplier relationships.
Develop scope of work packages for each trade on every project through collaborative effort with Production Manager and Project Managers.
Maintain production related process manuals.
Maintain and utilize purchase order system through Buildertrend, approve trade and supplier quotations and invoices.
Work with Production Manager and Project Manager to manage project workflow including coordination of employees, trade partners, material ordering and delivery and client selections.
Prepare documentation package for handoff of projects from estimating to production.
Track and report project actual costs to budget on a weekly basis for each project.
Prepare Project handbook for each project in binder and electronic form to be provided to clients at the completion of each project.
Maintain product information and sample library for remodeling and Homecare.
Participate in production and Homecare meetings on site and in the office.
Assist Production Manager with creating scope of work description and pricing for change orders for both remodeling and Homecare projects and track changes within project management system.
Assist accounting with preparation of remodeling and Homecare project invoices.
Ensure that projects are being photographed before during and after construction and maintain a photo library for trouble shooting and marketing and website purposes.
Be proactive about making suggestions for improvement throughout the company.
Be a self-starter and own your responsibilities.
Safety Officer
Responsibilities:
Maintain records of team members OSHA and RRP certifications and supply copies to HR.
Train production staff in the OSHA safety requirements to keep them current for required ongoing training with supplied documentation from OSHA or Acuity Insurance.
Follow processes for work site injuries to make sure all documentation is captured and procedures from OSHA and Acuity are followed.
Visit each jobsite, bi-weekly at a minimum to ensure safety requirements are being followed and to hold a toolbox talks for required training and get signatures on training forms.
Meet with Acuity Safety Representative yearly and take them to jobsites for inspections.
Monitor production tools and equipment to make sure they are in safe working condition.
If something isn't safe, take it out of service and take accountability for its repair or replacement.
Make sure job trailers are properly stocked with all the tools and equipment to complete projects in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist Production Manager with purchasing of new tools and equipment for all production teams.
Requirements College Graduate or 5 years work experience in renovation or related field.
Familiar with reading and understanding construction drawings.
Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and other standard computer programs.
Familiarity with Buildertrend Project Management solution will be an asset.
Willing to adapt to new technologies and learn computer programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills - detail oriented.
OSHA 20 Hour Certificate or ability to complete this course in the first 6 months of Job Type:
